Youth Basketball
The youth basketball league is open to youth in grades 3rd-6th. There are two leagues: the younger league which consists of 3rd and 4th graders, and the older league which consists of 5th and 6th graders. This league consists of teams from surrounding communities.
Registration forms are available online and Geneva Parks & Recreation Office (167 S. 10th Street, Geneva, NE 68361).
The league begins in January with games on Sunday afternoons and ends with a weekend tournament at the end of February in Geneva.
2021 Season Fees:
Fillmore Central Students - $40.00/Player
Non-Fillmore Central Teams - $100.00/Team

Panther Cager Hoops Challenge
The Challenge: 3rd graders make 1,000 shots, 4-5th graders make 2,000 shots, and 6-8th graders make 3,000 shots in a two-month period.
Keep track of the baskets you make each day. Have a parent sign the form to verify your numbers. Turn completed form into the Geneva Parks & Rec office by NOVEMBER 4TH.
Those who meet the challenge will be rewarded with a t-shirt, which will be presented at halftime of the boys’ home basketball game on DECEMBER 17TH. The class with most participants will win an additional prize.
The top two shot-makers will receive a special prize!
