All Nebraskans are provided free access to several databases, such as NOVELIST (find your next great read) for adults and children, or HERITAGE PLUS (for genealogy research or to look at historical documents). Click on Library Catalog, then log in with your library card number and phone number to access these resources.
In addition, the Geneva library offers a full text, searchable newspaper database with all FILLMORE COUNTY NEWSPAPERS published between 1872 and 2017. Click on Digital Newspaper Archive to explore this resource.
Access thousands of free audiobooks and ebooks for all ages with most any electronic device. Download the free OVERDRIVE or LIBBY app from your device's the app store. World Book is offering many of their online products free until April 30, 2020. This includes fifteen different modules, which include Timelines, Activity Corner, Early Learning, eBooks, Encyclopedia, Science Power, and Dramatic Learning. Their resources are designed for all ages.

Barnes & Noble is offering a Virtual Storytime with related activity sheets to download and print. The story schedule and downloadable activities are available on the Barnes & Noble website.
Dav Pilkey, the author and illustrator of the "Captain Underpants" and "Dog Man" series of children's books, has teamed up with the Library of Congress. Each Friday, Pilkey will release a new video featuring mini drawing lessons, reading from his books, or telling other stories.
Launched April 2, 2020, Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is presenting a new weekly read-aloud video series called "Goodnight with Dolly". According to the ImaginationLibrary website, "This 10-week series will focus on comforting and reassuring children during the shelter-in-place mandates. Dolly hopes these videos will provide a welcomed distraction during a time of unrest and also inspire a love of reading and books in the hearts of the children who see them."

Find many titles by Kate DiCamillo, John Lithgow, and Robert Munch; and old classics like "Anne of Green Gables" to new favorites like "Goodnight Construction Site". No apps to download, just access directly from their website.
Tumble Math is a K-6 grade math database. It features ebooks and book videos about various math concepts with related quizzes. Topics include basic counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, fractions, probability, graphing, finance, time & temp, and more.
Teen Book Cloud features ebooks and audiobooks for grades 7 through 12. Find anything from AP English titles such as "The Divine Comedy" to graphic novel titles such as "Tank & Fizz: The Case of the Slime Stampede". Many nonfiction titles are available as well.

Story Time From Space featuring astronauts reading stories from the International Space Station. There are several stories, from picture books such as "Rosie Revere, Engineer" by Andrea Beaty, to chapter books such as "Ada Lace Take Me To Your Leader" by Emily Calandrelli. There are also a few science-related videos on the site you don't want to miss.
Who doesn't love Mo Willems? The author of Elephant and Piggie and that troublesome Pigeon, is encouraging families to grab their markers and crayons and join Mo for "Lunch Doodles" each weekday at 12:00 p.m. CST. All episodes are available at The Kennedy Center website or on their YouTube channel.
